Where to Measure
These diagrams cover the upper body — the measurements a blouse or fitted bodice is cut from. Each one is labelled in its own key, so read the labels on the diagram you are looking at.

How to Measure
- Wear lightweight clothing when measuring, and stand naturally with arms relaxed.
- Use a soft measuring tape and ensure it sits flat against the body without pulling tight.
- For bust, measure across the fullest part; for waist, at the natural crease; for hip, at the widest point.
- When between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort, especially in structured garments.
- For bespoke and made-to-order pieces, provide measurements taken by a professional tailor for best results.
Don’t have a measuring tape?
- Use a piece of string and a flat ruler.
- Or measure a well-fitting blouse you already own.
