Where to Measure

These diagrams cover the upper body — the measurements a blouse or fitted bodice is cut from. Each one is labelled in its own key, so read the labels on the diagram you are looking at.

How to Measure

Wear lightweight clothing when measuring, and stand naturally with arms relaxed.
Use a soft measuring tape and ensure it sits flat against the body without pulling tight.
For bust, measure across the fullest part; for waist, at the natural crease; for hip, at the widest point.
When between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort, especially in structured garments.
For bespoke and made-to-order pieces, provide measurements taken by a professional tailor for best results.
